Our next house/pet sit found us in Glenbrook, an area north of Sydney (in the Blue Mountains).
Our home owners were lovely couple, a Heavy Metal Guitarist (retired), his wife with Purple Hair, a son and daughter (who was very proud to be a Goth)......it was almost like living with Ozzie Osbourne's Family!!!
Actually, although a quirky taste in home decor (our bedroom being adorned with Heavy Metal pop groups posters) the place was very comfortable and we had a pool to enjoy.....which was great as temps were in late 30's!
We are looking after two older dogs, Leeroy (a small poodle) was prone to epileptic fits. Fortunately for us, he did not had any fits whilst we were there. We had been informed that they are mostly brought on when he gets stressed or over excited, so we kept him as calm and relaxed as we possibly could.
The other dog Benji was a rescue dog and only had three legs. He was gorgeous little thing. It melted our hearts to watch him, but he managed really well except for the steps back up from the garden, where he needed a little help.
We were only here for a week, but an enjoyable house/pet sit in a beautiful area, with two great little characters.
